The Award has been established to honor the life and memory of James P. Hartnett, a founder of ICHMT and an outstanding leader in the fields of energy resources and heat and mass transfer research. The Award consists of a medal and a certificate. The procedure for allocating this award is here.
ICHMT GRANTS
Consistent with its international goals, ICHMT organizes regular symposia and other technical meetings on behalf of the international community in heat and mass transfer. The Executive Committee of ICHMT has recognized that, for many scientists and engineers with much to gain and to offer by participation in such meetings, the provision of the necessary finance to cover travel, accommodation and fees may be an insurmountable burden. Therefore, ICHMT has started providing limited funding to support the attendance of young scientists and engineers at its meetings since 2003. Priority is given to students and young scientists from the Developing Countries. The procedure for allocating grants is here.
